How this helps your ADHD brain

Most timer apps assume you'll do round after round. Pomodoro wants 4 cycles with breaks. That's great in theory β€” but for ADHD brains, the pressure of "you're supposed to keep going" makes the whole thing feel like a trap. The Dopamine Timer is different: one sprint, one countdown, done. You get a win no matter what. The visual countdown externalizes time (which your brain is terrible at tracking), and the reward at the end gives you the dopamine hit that makes starting the next thing easier.
